A Fading Legacy, A Scientific Solution

Maharashtra's ancient temples and centuries-old sacred sculptures are an invaluable legacy of our culture and deep-rooted devotion. However, continuous ritualistic offerings (such as milk, curd, turmeric, and vermilion) and changing climatic conditions cause gradual erosion, causing the original form of these stone deities to fade.

In such cases, replacing a sacred deity is often neither feasible nor desirable due to religious traditions, divine consultations (Kaul), or archaeological guidelines. The simplest, most scientific, and rational solution to this challenge is 'Vajralep' — an advanced traditional art of stone strengthening and restoration.
